Sandy Buller
In 1985, while earning his bachelor's degree in Communications at the University of St. Thomas, Sandy produced a product testing video for an International industrial manufacturing company. After 18 years of moving up the ranks at the same company, Sandy held the position of Vice President of Engineering. He boldly chose to get back to his true passion of creating powerful videos and films. He and his wife, Janet, started the company Sweet Spirit Productions. Together they are fulfilling that goal. Whether it’s producing an historic video documentary for a local high school marching band, creating small business cable TV commercials and internet infomercials, or filming a cinematic wedding or special event video, Sandy tells stories through video that present and future generations can enjoy. Sandy’s other passion emerges as a musician and record producer. He is a master at using music (including his own compositions) to heighten the emotional experience within his productions. When Sandy isn’t producing video projects, he can be found as a professional musician performing with the Moe Hansum Band. In 2004, he co-produced their latest CD “Poor Boys Long Ways From Home” which is currently being played on radio stations in the USA and Europe.

Janet Buller
Janet, born and raised in Bellaire, Texas, has now come full circle after exploring different parts of the world. She graduated from Bellaire High School, attended Principia College, a small private college in Illinois, and then transferred to the University of Texas to pursue a degree in communications. In 1987, she earned her bachelor's degree in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin. She moved to Michigan in 1988 (becoming Janet Hailey), and worked in major advertising agencies and design shops honing her skills in visual communication and marketing. In 1993, she moved to Luxembourg in Europe and worked for a while at an ad agency there, enjoying a daily dose of chocolate croissants. When she returned to Michigan, she let loose her newly discovered talent as a singer/songwriter and began writing and performing. When she became single again, she moved back to Austin and worked at a publishing company and then as a managing editor for online self-study CPE courses. While playing music around the evening campfires at Kerrville Folk Festival in 2002, she met Sandy, the love of her life, and got married the following spring. She moved back to the Houston area to be with Sandy (this is where it all comes full circle). Sandy and Janet decided to pursue their passion for film and joined forces to create Sweet Spirit Productions. Janet also continues to work in marketing as a graphic designer, writer, and editor. She's finishing a CD of original music which, of course, features the sweet sounds of Sandy on upright bass.
